Welcome to my portfolio! I’m Jesed Pando, a dedicated and passionate individual with a diverse background and a strong commitment to sustainability, social justice, and creativity.

Early Life and Education

I was born and raised in Bolivia, where I spent my formative years immersed in the rich culture of the Andes. My journey began with the scout movement, where I camped and traveled extensively for over 10 years. This experience instilled in me a deep respect for nature, a commitment to sustainability, and a dedication to helping others.

During high school, I volunteered in various community projects, including caring for refugee dogs, cleaning up lakes, participating in recycling programs, and conducting nutrition workshops in rural areas. These activities reinforced my desire to make a positive impact on the world.

Academic Achievements

At the age of 18, I received a scholarship to attend the United World College in Maastricht, Netherlands, where I lived in Europe for two years and completed my International Baccalaureate with a focus on visual arts and economics. This incredible opportunity led to a full-ride scholarship at Methodist University in the United States. During my time there, I volunteered at Fashion Weeks, worked with immigrant NGOs in Vermont, and served as a photographer for fashion events and parties in Fayetteville, NC.

Professional Experience

Throughout my academic journey, I remained an active member of various clubs and honor societies, holding positions such as secretary and public relations officer. My professional experience includes working in public relations at fashion weeks, contributing to immigrant NGOs, and capturing the essence of fashion events through photography. My Bolivian heritage, combined with my exposure to the fashion industry, social justice initiatives, and sustainability efforts, has shaped my unique perspective and approach.
